          Tuition center is a specialized educational institution that provides guidance to a student to ensure that students are always ready to face exams. Tuition also able to cultivate confidence in each student in facing the exam and also provide the latest tips in answering exam questions. Tuition centres have their supporters and critics. In my opinion tuition centres are not a waste of money. Let us look at the facts.

          Firstly, students are pushed to get as many A's as possible in their examinations. It is not only the parents who push them but also the education system. According to Grill (1999), parents are very concerned about their children’s performance and academic success. Success in exams allows students to get a place in the course they want, especially if it is accounting, dentistry or engineering. How do parents make sure their children get the as many A's as possible in their examinations? In such cases, tuition becomes the only choice for students.

           Secondly, tuition centers not only increase student’s understanding of topics but also provide plenty of practice and drill work in the respective topics. Drill method aims to provide training to students on specific learning so that they can recall information that has been learned automatically while answering exam questions (Anok,2013).

             Tuition centers can provide comfortable and conducive classrooms and learning environments for students. This gives comfort to the students and beyond allowing them to focus fully on the learning process. The situation is very different when they attend learning classes in day school because the crowded classroom situation with students has made it difficult for them to fully focus.

            In conclusion, tuition has always been part of our education system. Tuition classes are the best alternative for students who want to succeed. Going for tuition is a choice and no one forces parents to send their children for tuition. So, tuition centres are not a waste of money.
